Fashion Diary - Holiday '98!

I absolutely love NYC during the holiday season! To get us into the holiday spirit, a bunch of us from Squeeze walked over to Rockefeller Center to see the lighting of the 70 foot Christmas Tree! It was just too weird though - we're usually bundled in winter coats & mittens, drinking hot cocoa to keep warm. This time around, we were sporting sandals & t-shirts. Now I know how all you Californians, Floridians, and Texans (just to name a few) feel during the holiday season (personally, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a white Christmas).

After the lighting ceremonies, we walked around midtown to check out all of the department store windows. The stores like FAO Schwarz, Saks, and Lord & Taylor, totally revamp their windows into miniature motorized Christmas displays. People wait on lines just to get a glimpse of the windows - they really turn out looking awesome! The rest of my free time has been spent inside the stores buying all of my holiday gifts. I have easily heard every Christmas tune time & again but, I guess that's all part of the fun! Just so you know, there have been a ton of sales going on in the junior section of all department stores. So, I hope clothing is included on you wish list!
